Canamax Energy Ltd is engaged in the acquisition of micro caps and the exploitation of assets, in the oil and gas sector. within Alberta and Saskatchewan. 

We are actively expanding our portfolio via acquisition and development. Current assets comprise:

Greater Grimshaw: Greater Grimshaw is a Canamax ‘core growth’ asset and as such, is targeting strong long term growth. It comprises a substantial land position with oil productive properties, which we are in the process of exploiting.

Wapiti: Wapiti is considered a Canamax ‘core cash-flow’ asset and represents strong, low risk, exploitation growth over the short to medium term. 

Non-Core Properties

Brazeau River: Brazeau represents strong, low risk, exploitation growth over the short to medium term. Oil production from the Cardium Formation commenced on October 20, 2013. Field operations to evaluate the oil potential within the Belly River at Brazeau River is underway.

Retlaw: Low risk, high-potential property that became part of the Canamax portfolio through the Ki acquisition. The property has a number of wellbores and Canamax has been able to successfully recomplete numerous formations.

Hardy & Coteau Lake: Located approximately 150 km south of Regina, Saskatchewan Canamax’s Hardy Property is comprised of 48.25 gross (47.6net) sections at an average of 98.5% working interest with Canamax operating all of the production. Currently the property is producing ~80 bbl/d of 400API light oil from the Bakken formation.
